The activities and programmes of the Action Family Network are structured into three vital areas of family life: Family Life and Marriage Issues, Family Health & Nutrition and Family Economy. These include Abstinence/Fidelity Education programmes including "True Love Cares (TLC)" Clubs, Youth Clinic, Pre-marriage preparation, Natural Family Planning (NFP), and Crisis Pregnancy Management. Their dream is to establish a resource centre in Lagos, Nigeria where books, audio and visual materials on abstinence education and youth character formation can be accessed by all who look for them.

| Ayo Ipinmoye
Mr. Ipinmoye is the National Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Youth For Christ. In this respect, he gives leadership to the Youth For Christ Ministry in three Geopolitical zones of Nigeria, with a staff complement of 15 full time and over 500 associates and Volunteers. He is an Economist and Accountant by professional training. In 1995, he left the world of accountancy and has been involved in the world of young people. He has initiated many high impact projects to reach the youths, particularly on HIV/AIDS related issues. At present, he is involved in creating awareness on HIV/AIDS through a project called "Save Our Youth Campaign" This involves a weekly Television Programme on Ondo State Television; recruiting and training of Peer Educators in Schools and Churches; mobilizing Church and community leaders to be involved in the issues of HIV/Aids and also making use of the art forms of music, drama, dance and poetry to communicate the message of Abstinence to young people. Ayo’s desire is to be used of God to develop a generation of young leaders for the continent of Africa who will be used of God to bring positive change to the Continent of Africa and Nigeria in particular.

Helsby is founder of The Edge, a newly formed organization which provides service to the Church through multimedia resources located in Johannesburg, South Africa. Helsby is the former National Director of Youth for Christ/South Africa for the past xxx years, a member of the xxxx, Nelson Mandela Children’s AIDS Fund.

| Dr Ruku Oyaku Bhileni
" Africa Against AIDS-Anthology of poems for youth,” a 168 page book (kind of psalms of HIV/AIDS) written by youth for youth and dedicated to all the African youth. This book underscores the determination of the youths whose poems were selected for publication to influence behaviour change with powerful appeals for prevention through personal restraint. It is published locally by APMS (Association of Physicians and Medical Workers for Social Responsibility), an affiliate of IPPNW (International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, Nobel peace prize 1985).
Dr. Ruku Oyaku Bhileni is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Kenyatta National Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya and is co-ordinator of the APMS (IPPNW-Kenya) HIV/AIDS Program. In conjunction with UNICEF, Bhileni edited Africa Against AIDS: Anthology of Poems for Youth. This project was the result of a competition organized by IPPNW-Kenya and the listenership of radio station Metro FM 101.9 in December 1-31, 2000.

| Dr. Harold Davis
Davis is the founder of the nationally recognized program, Talks Mentoring, which has been featured on Focus on the Family and Larry Burkett’s Money Matters radio shows. He has consulted for mentoring programs with housing authorities of Chicago, Illinois and Indianapolis, Indiana as well as many school districts in various states. Locally he oversees 100 plus mentors for young at-risk boys and girls in Champaign, Illinois. Davis has authored two books, Talks My Father Never Had with Me and Talks My Father Never Had with Me II.

| Jason Perry
Jason is an experienced minister, author and teacher. Nearly two decades serving as a conference and retreat speaker, church youth pastor, campus minister and mentor have given him significant insight into youth culture. He has served as the Urban Youth Ministries Coordinator for the Reformed Church in America as well as the National Director of Urban Ministries for Emerging Young Leaders. Rev. Perry possesses extensive experience training youth and adults having served as a teacher at Youth for Christ's DC/LA Super Conferences, Generation 21 Leadership Conference (Nairobi, Kenya), a well as local and regional Volunteer and Staff conferences. He is the founder and director Oak Tree Ministries which exists to develop and provide resources and training to those in the body of Christ who are in ministry to youth. He is the author of How Far Can YOU GO? Straight Talk about Sexual Purity and the soon to be released book on purity aimed at the non-Christian market, simply titled, Sex. Rev. Perry also writes the internet-based devotional Morning Manna. Rev. Perry has earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) and Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL). He currently serves as the founding/senior pastor Living Oaks Fellowship in Centennial, Colorado. Originally from Hopkins Park, IL, he now lives in Aurora, CO with his wife, Sharon, and their two children.

| John F. Tanner, Jr
Tanner is an associate professor of Marketing at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business in Waco, Texas. He joined the McLennan County Collaborative Abstinence Project (a Title V program) in 1998 and began to evaluate abstinence education programs. He now also evaluates Worth the Wait in the Texas Panhandle and Shannon Health in San Angelo, Texas. His research in this area has appeared in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Psychological Reports, and others.
